Don Helms

     It is with great sadness that I add the following information. On Monday August 11th, Don Helms suffered a heart attack and passed away.

     The thoughts and prayers of all of us at Southern Illinois Productions go out to Don's wife Hazel, and Don's family in their time of need.

     Services for Don Helms will be as follows:

     Visitation:
     Wednesday, Aug. 13th - 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M.

     Funeral:
     Thursday, Aug. 14th - 1:00 P.M. with visitation 1 hour prior to services.

     I don't personally feel that I could begin to do the memory of Don Helms justice with any words I could type here. Don was a great man and a legendary Steel Guitar player as can be seen by the kind words and memories left by his friends at The Steel Guitar Forum
